As part of our new wellness initiatives, we have created Wellness Kits for children in foster care. These kits include items like yoga mats, weighted blankets, meditation timers, mindfulness coloring books and more! Children who enroll in our yoga classes with Dragonfly Yoga will receive a kit to take home! MAGIC Charities Foundation recently made a generous donation to "support the well-being and adoptive and foster youth." This awesome organization has helped fund our wellness kits and yoga classes. Our sister organization @dragonflyyogastudio has been using these mats for years and it's wonderful to be able to give these to children in foster care. Imagine being a child getting their first yoga mat to call their own. What an invitation to explore movement, breath, and meditation! #doylestown #buckscounty #fostercare We have partnered Dragonfly Yoga Studio in #Doylestown to offer yoga classes for children in foster care. In these classes, kids participate in a therapeutic-oriented program designed to help with their mental and physical health. We were so honored to be a recipient of a 2022 Partnership in Youth Services Grant from Foundations Community Partnership. @fcpartnership have been a long time supporter of our organization and this grant helps us in launching our new Wellness Program initiatives. Congrats to all the other recipients this year! Last Giving Tuesday, we asked you to help us launch our Forever Home Capital Campaign. We had a huge goal of raising $100,000. We are thrilled to say you helped us reach that goal! Fiaria Project founder Alexis Ridge-Simek is packing 5 Transition Kits for children going into #fostercare today! It helped us raise money to supply clothes and more to local children in foster care. Lotus 8 has been very supportive of Fiaria Project over the years and we are grateful! A big thank you goes out to Tom Hebel and everyone on the team at @bucks_country_gardens for donating the stone (and the labor!) that made the entry way to our new warehouse space amazing -- and safe for our volunteers!
